CLI has regular openings for Direct Service Workers, Day Program Support Workers and Employment Coaches. Board Members-Each year at our annual general meeting we elect a board of directors. If you have experience as a board member or if you feel you could contribute to the governance of Community Living Interlake the nomination committee would be happy to review your application

Position Type: Board (Unpaid)
The Association for Community Living Interlake Branch recognizes the value of every person and believes that people living with an intellectual disability are individuals; each of whom has rights as community members.
INDIVIDUAL BOARD MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
Board meetings are held in the evening, once a month from September to June, at the CLI Boardroom in Stonewall. Sub-committee meetings as scheduled, as needed.
The Board of Directors is collectively responsible and accountable for the following:
a: Financial Management
b: Strategic Planning and Direction
c: Board- Executive Director Relationship
Each Board member is expected to
1: Responsibly represent CLI to the community and to advocate for CLI mission and programs as appropriate.
- Regularly attend board meetings, committee and AGM.
- Participate actively in the work of at least one committee.
- Stay informed about board matters, prepares well for meetings, and review and comment on minutes and reports.
- 5. Interact with other board members and build a collegial working relationship that contributes to consensus.
- Participates in fund raising.
Application Deadline: Board members are normally elected at the Annual General meeting held in June. Applications should be submitted by March of each year.
